Description

This Rotan stool brightens up any room. The Framework of the Stool is of Rattan. The seat is braided of Water Hyacinth and colored Fabrics.

Water Hyacinth grows fast, especially in a warm climate. In Vietnam it grows like a weed around houses and along rivers. If you dry it, you can braid it. This is done on a large scale, and it is also a nice way to clean out the weeds.

This is a Fair Trade Original Product and made by the export organization Mai Vietnamese Handicrafts.
