Description
This flags garland is handmade by the women of Minjeni in Tanzania. The 15 flags are double stiched, so nice and firmly and in bright African prints. Great for (kids) party's or a picknick. The garland combines really well with the Minjeni tablecloth.
If you buy this product you support the sewing project of Minjeni, from the earnings they generate money for their families and for Minjeni.
Minjeni supports the villagers of Shimbwe and Uru East on the slopes of the Kilimanjaro. by means of a micro credit formula in pigs-, chicken-, goats-, and gardenprojects.
They also provide health care education and consultations, there is a Day Care Centre under construction.
